The Neo Art Experience
An immersive universe of light, art, music and exploration in virtual reality.
Neo Art Space invites visitors to explore a living universe of light art.
Created by artist Philip Noyed, the project continues his ongoing exploration of light, geometry, and immersive technology as a new medium for artistic expression.
Neo Art Space is an immersive universe of light art that visitors can explore, experience, or journey through.
Neo Art Space extends the tradition of light and space art into the immersive medium of virtual reality.
Visitors often describe the experience as leaving Earth and arriving in a luminous galaxy filled with planets, stars, and awe-inspiring environments.
More than 30 immersive destinations unfold throughout this universe, each accompanied by ethereal music and spatial sound design by Emmy Award-winning composer Jim Oliver.
Together, art, light, music, and virtual space merge into a single experience of exploration, wonder, and discovery.
“This was the most impactful art show I’ve attended. Heavenly. The Neo Art Space experience was euphoric—inducing a medicinal sense of well being.”

Project Origins
Neo Art Space emerged from Philip’s years of artistic experimentation with light, geometry, and immersive environments. He originally developed Neo Art Space as a real-world light art showcase featuring multiple light installations unfolding in a journey.
Philip discovered creating in VR and, during the pandemic lockdowns, shifted to create Neo Art Space in VR. He discovered the advantages of creating without worrying about physics, gravity, structural engineering, and electrical.
Creating Neo Art Space in VR allowed Philip to create an immersive art experience as big as his imagination.
Artist’s Note
Neo Art Space began as an exploration of how light, music, and space could become a new kind of artistic canvas.
My hope is that visitors experience moments of awe, wonder, and joy as they travel through this universe of light.
— Philip Noyed
